About NMS

The Nebraska Muslim Services (NMS) is an independent non-profit Islamic organization whose mission is to provide services for the Muslim community of the state of Nebraska. And one of the services is to establish, maintain, and operate a cemetery for the Muslim community. The burial procedures will be based on Ahl-Alsunna derived from the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The NMS commits to provide services to the Muslim community in the state, through its governing board which is a consortium of Masjid boards. The board oversees the overall operations, sets procedures and monitors the performance of the organization. The NMS 

Some of the services NMS will provide to the community:

• Operate a non-profit Muslim Cemetery (Nebraska Muslim Cemetery) which will cater needs of all Nebraskans.

• Organize Eid salah in city of Omaha.

• Communicate portal for Muslim events in the state of Nebraska.

• Initiate and assist in humanitarian causes.

• Organize community enrichment programs.
